1. Do you consider yourself a gamer? Do you play games frequently, as a hobby, or games aren’t much your thing?

I grew up with two older brothers who played sports, but I was always most into games. Yes, I am a gamer! I play games almost everyday on my mobile device and home console. I wish I had time to live stream some games I play.

2. How did you get invited to get in the project Resident Evil REsistance?

I had just moved to Tokyo at the time and was modeling. I was surprised one day when my manager said a game company is asking for me. I am thankful to Capcom for including my image as a character.

3. Would tell us when the whole project got started? When working on it, did you know that it would be part of the Resident Evil 3 Remake?

It was over 2 years ago that I traveled to Osaka to start the project at Capcom. I was excited, so I asked many questions to try and find out what game its for. But, everyone was very secretive. The only hint was “You use a bat to fight dead things trying to kill you”. I thought it was Dead Rising.

4. What were the biggest challenges when you played your role in RE: Resistence? It was your first take as a video game character?

I did not realize how many facial expressions you are asked to make for the character. My face was stretched in many ways. It is my first time, but I hope to return for more!

5. What are your thoughts about your character in RE:REsistance? Do you have anything in common with him/her?

He’s handsome isn't he!?! haha! I really like how Samuel is fearless and steps first into danger. He leads the group so that he can protect. I think I protect things as well by taking charge.

6. Did you have had any previous contact with the Resident Evil franchise prior to your work on Project RE: Resistance? Have you already played any Resident Evil before?

I remember playing RE on PS1 when I was a kid. It was the only game my mother took away and said never to play again. Now, I am a character in the series!!

7. We can notice since the first trailers and video gameplays, that the RE Engine that powers the RE:REsistance delivers very realistic and detailed graphics. So, can tell us something about the face and motion capture process? Did you have experienced any struggles with the tech?

There is a lot of tech and cameras involved. Even I do not understand it all!! With many cameras facing me, I had many different poses to do. I would have to hold it for minutes while the cameras went off.

8. Did you get to play Project Resistence’s beta? Or have seen any of the game’s videos? If so, what did you think about the final version of it?

I haven’t played it yet. I am excited to play it when it releases!

9. How Samuel was depicted to you during the production’s process? How these details have helped you to get into the characters?

I was told I am like a high school jock with a girlfriend. I wonder who my girlfriend is???

10. Overall, did you have enjoyed the experience of taking part of Project RE: Resistance?

I loved it! It’s a dream come true to work with a game, and I hope I can do more!

11. In case that you get invited to take the part in a future Resident Evil or another popular gaming franchise, would you get in again?

Please everyone, support me for more opportunities!!!

12. Have you ever been in Brazil, or have you ever get contact from brazilian fans before? Would like to leave a message for all brazilian Resident Evil fans?

I wanted to visit Brazil years ago, because I liked this girl. Shes quite famous in Sao Paulo on Instagram and YouTube nowadays. Maybe you know her! Hello to all the Brazilian fans!! Please enjoy this game in the franchise as well. You have shown support and love for Resident Evil and Samuel, and that is beyond exciting. Thank you! Dont forget to reload when you play Resident Evil Project REsistance!
